Manage the download with MultiGet on Debian Linux

Sometimes, I need to download a large file or files. I need a software item to manage this process. I use MultiGet on Debian Linux to manage the download.

I can pause the download while I am downloading a file.

I can install MultiGet using Synaptic Package Manager.


MultiGet looks like the picture below:



By clicking on the green cross, I can choose what to download. Before clicking on the green cross, I can right-click a link in a web browser such as Firefox, and click on "Copy Link Location". When I click on the green cross in MultiGet, MultiGet copies the link in the new task. A link is known as the URL. See an example:
