Using gparted for partitions on Debian Linux

To format the hard disk and to use partitions, I used gparted.

The command in Terminal was:

gparted /dev/sda

/dev/sda was the name of the device.

Using gparted, I avoided the error below:

The partition is misaligned by 512 bytes.
