Gradient background in presentation in LibreOffice 4

The screenshots below show the gradient background in a presentation in LibreOffice 4.

Select File -> New -> Presentation
-> View -> Master
-> Slide Master

Select Rectangle
-> Drag to draw a rectangle

Right-click the rectangle
-> Select Line...

-> Line -> Line properties
-> Style -> Invisible -> OK

-> Right-click the rectangle
-> Select Area...

-> Transparency
-> Gradient
-> OK

Right-click the rectangle
-> Select Arrange
-> Send to Back
-> Close Master View

Click a text box and start typing.

Select Insert -> Slide

(The gradient background is still applied.)
