Graphical desktop on Debian Linux

I chose the "automated install" option in "advanced options" when installing Debian Linux on an old computer.

Later, I found that I needed the following packages to use the graphical desktop:

gdm3

gnome-session

I issued the commands:

aptitude install gdm3

aptitude install gnome-session

They worked.
